Everyone’s spine is unique and their chiropractic care is tailored specifically to their age, condition, individual health and goals. The number of adjustments varies depending on each patient. Many people report improvement within a week or two of frequent visits. Neglected spines, however, can often experience slower progress. Visits become less as the spine stabilizes.
If you’re suffering from pain, fatigue, or general discomfort, you may be considering chiropractic adjustments. If you are unsure about its safety, then we can assure you it is completely safe! Extensive studies have shown that chiropractors undergo relentless training and follow strict safety guidelines during treatments. In fact, spinal adjustments are considered much safer than other invasive procedures like injections, medications, or surgeries, which often come with long-term side effects.
Chiropractic care works because your are a self healing, self regulating organism controlled by your nervous system. Instructions from your brain travel down your spinal cord and out to every organ and cell in your body. Signals get sent back to the brain to confirm your body is working correctly. Improper motion or position of the moving bones of the spine, called a subluxation, can interfere with this vital exchange of information by irritating nerves. Spinal adjustments can improve mind/body communications. Improved nervous system control often returns the body to a more adaptive healing state.
Combined therapy is more effective because it addresses multiple aspects of your health simultaneously, providing a comprehensive solution rather than targeting just one area. For example, chiropractic care focuses on restoring joint alignment and improving nervous system function, while dry needling relieves muscle tension and improves circulation. Functional medicine addresses underlying systemic issues like inflammation, stress, and nutritional deficiencies that can hinder recovery. Together, these therapies create a synergistic effect, where the benefits of one enhance the effectiveness of the others, leading to faster recovery, longer-lasting results, and improved overall wellness.
Chiropractic adjustments are safe and beneficial for people of all ages, from infants to seniors. Adjustments can be tailored to meet the specific needs of each individual. Infants and children can benefit from gentle techniques to address issues like colic, poor sleep, or posture. Adults commonly seek adjustments for back pain, neck pain, headaches, and improving mobility. Seniors often find relief from arthritis, joint stiffness, and age-related discomfort through safe, low-force adjustments. Whether you’re an athlete, a desk worker, or someone recovering from an injury, chiropractic care can be customized to support your unique health and wellness goals.
Functional medicine is a patient-centered, holistic approach to healthcare that focuses on identifying and addressing the root causes of disease rather than just treating symptoms. It combines cutting-edge diagnostic testing with a deep understanding of how lifestyle factors—such as diet, stress, sleep, and exercise—impact overall health. Functional medicine practitioners create personalized care plans that may include nutritional guidance, supplements, stress management techniques, and other interventions to support optimal function and long-term wellness. This approach emphasizes collaboration between the practitioner and patient to restore balance and prevent future health issues.
Chiropractors specialize in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal issues, making them highly effective at addressing pain related to the spine, joints, and muscles. By restoring proper alignment and movement through safe, non-invasive adjustments, chiropractors can reduce pressure on nerves, improve joint function, and alleviate pain. Unlike medications that mask symptoms, chiropractic care targets the underlying cause of your discomfort, promoting natural healing and long-term relief. Whether your pain stems from poor posture, an injury, or chronic conditions, chiropractic care offers a drug-free, holistic approach to improving your overall well-being.
